First of all, there is no dearth of restaurants or eateries in Tokyo. You’re never more than a minute away from some place to eat and, most likely, eat well! Having said that, I came across a few areas where there is an absolute abundance of food choices…
.
Mitsukoshi Department Store, Ginza: With one floor selling ready to eat, take away and packaged food and two floors of restaurants, this 15 storey department store came highly recommended by a few locals we bumped into for its excellent selection of food – especially the desserts and sushi. Considering how busy it is and how full of the locals, it definitely was an orchestra for the gastronomic senses.

Shiodome City Centre Tower: An incredible array of restaurants across many floors with Japanese, Korean, Chinese and some European restaurants, one is hard pressed for a choice!
.
Asakusa: The street leading up to the Senso-ji Buddhist temple is full of stalls selling dumplings, sweets and tempura! Try the freshly made doll biscuits!
.
Of course, everyone should try Les Creations de Narisawa!!!
